How to Download and Use reMarkable Templates: A Quick-Start Guide
Share
Looking to get started with your new digital templates on the reMarkable tablet? Whether you're using a daily planner, a productivity bundle, or visual stickers and notes — getting them onto your tablet is quick and easy. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you download, transfer, and start using your reMarkable templates in minutes.
🧾 Step 1: Download Your Files
Once you've purchased a template from Atelier CKIKI, you’ll receive a download link:
-
On the confirmation page, you’ll see a “Download Now” button.
-
You’ll also receive an email with the same link.
-
Your template usually comes in PDF format with clickable hyperlinks for easy navigation and upgraded use templates.
✨ Note: In some cases — especially for bundles or products with numerous files — you may receive a PDF with a link to an external download (such as One Drive).
✨ Tip: Save the files to a location you’ll remember — such as your desktop or a cloud folder.
💻 Step 2: Open Your reMarkable Account
To transfer files to your reMarkable tablet, you’ll need a reMarkable account and access to one of the supported tools:
Once logged in, open your library my.remarkable.com/myfiles, where all notebooks and templates live.
📂 Step 3: Upload the Template to reMarkable
Using the Desktop App (Most Reliable)
-
Open the reMarkable desktop app.
-
Drag and drop the downloaded PDF template file into the library window.
-
Wait for it to sync automatically with your tablet.

✍️ Step 4: Start Using Your Template
-
On your reMarkable tablet, go to My Files.
-
Tap on the new template to open it.
-
Use your stylus to write directly on the page, navigate through hyperlinks with a finger's tap, or duplicate pages as needed.
🎯 Best Practices:
-
Duplicate your planner/journal so you always have a clean copy to reuse.
-
Use folders to stay organized (e.g., “2025 Planner,” “Project Notes,” “Reading Logs”).
🧠 Bonus Tips for Using Hyperlinked Templates
-
All of Atelier CKIKI’s templates include hyperlinks to quickly navigate between pages (e.g., from a calendar to a daily page).
-
Use your stylus to write, and your finger to tap hyperlinks.
-
Hyperlinks won’t work in “view only” mode — make sure you’re not zoomed in when tapping.
-
When you duplicate a template page or section, it will copy all the links of that page.
-
Want to start a new section? Just duplicate a page from the template and insert it where you need it.
🛠️ Having Trouble?
If you're stuck at any point:
-
Double-check that you're uploading a PDF, not a ZIP or folder.
-
Confirm your reMarkable is synced and has a strong internet connection.
